Left side of face sore and eye slightly swollen?

About 10 days ago I woke up with swollen, sore, itchy eyes (my left eye was worse than my right). I thought it was allergy related because I have persistant rhinitus so I took Antihistamine tablets and used some of the allery eye drops I have. Although this didnt do anything they were better within a few days so I didnt go to the doctors and thought nothing else of it. But today I woke up with swollen eyes and again the left was worse than my right> This time there is no itchiness but my left eye is very, very sore when I blink or move my eyeball and the whole left side of my face hurts to touch. My right side of my face is fine and the eye is only very slightly swollen. Again I took Antihistamines, eyedrops and also this time used Flixonase nose spray that the doctors perscribe me for my rhinitus. This hasnt done anything. This may not be related but inside my left nostril is very sore and red and has a red sore lump inside it which I thought was a coldsore but it isnt. I have also taken Pseudoephedrine decongestant tablets incase in sinusitus but these havent helped so far. Done anyone know what this might be? Answers would be much appreciated :)
